Exclusive vs. Non-Exclusive Licensing: What's the Difference?

We get asked this all the time - so here’s the short and simple answer:

Non-Exclusive License

The design can be sold multiple times by the original designer, and elements may also be reused by the buyer. Because it’s not limited to one owner, the price is significantly lower.

Exclusive License

The design - and all of its elements - are sold only once, worldwide. Once purchased, full rights are transferred to the buyer. This ensures total exclusivity and ownership, making the design truly one-of-a-kind.
