Create your landing page

Build a public landing page for your storefront with the new landing page builder

Written by Veronica Paredes Sandoval

Your landing page is the public front door of your storefront: a page with your logo, your story and a small selection of your designs that anyone can see before they log in. Buyers who like what they see click through to log in or request access. The page has no contact forms: visitors reach you by email or through the login page.

The landing page builder is new and we are rolling it out studio by studio. We would love your feedback while you use it.

Before you start

The builder is switched on per studio. If you do not see a Landing Page tab under Website in your dashboard, contact us at [email protected] and we will switch it on for you.

Create your first draft

  1. In your dashboard, go to Website and open the Landing Page tab.

  2. Click Create New.

  3. In the chat on the left, describe your studio: who you are, the kind of prints you make, who you sell to, and the feel you want (for example clean and minimal, or bold and colourful). You can also pick one of the quick suggestions.

  4. The builder writes a first version of the page with your logo, your text and a selection of your designs. This takes a minute or two.

Edit your page

  • Ask for changes in the chat. For example: "make the headline shorter", "add a section about our hand-painted collection", or "use our navy brand colour for the buttons".

  • Choose which images appear. Click Images to browse your designs and studio photos, or double-click an image on the page to replace it.

  • Check the preview on the right before you publish. The builder writes the first text for you, so read it carefully and correct anything that is not true about your studio, for example your markets, your clients or how you work.

Your changes are saved as you go. Pages you have not published show as Draft.

Publish your page

  1. Click Deploy. Your page is now Live and you can copy its address.

  2. When you make more changes, click Update to push them to the live page.

  3. To take the page offline, click Unpublish.

You can keep several drafts. Your plan sets how many pages can be live at the same time.

Which designs can appear on your page

We know your designs are your product, so the landing page protects them:

  • Only your own designs that are live, visible and not sold can appear. A design you sell, hide or delete is never shown.

  • A small number of designs: 6 per page by default.

  • Designs are shown as small copies with a watermark, so they cannot be reused at full size. Your logo and studio photos are shown normally.

  • Designs from your featured collection are suggested first, then a mix from across your collections.

If you would like to show more or fewer designs, show none at all, or show your designs without the watermark, contact us and we will change this for your studio.

Your web address

Once your page is live, we connect it to your storefront address, your Pattern Cloud address (yourstudio.thepatterncloud.com). Support for your own domain will follow. Visitors then see your landing page first, and logged-in buyers still go straight to your designs. Let us know when your page is ready and we will take care of this step.

Questions

Do buyers still need to log in to see all my designs? Yes. The landing page shows a small preview only. Your full catalogue, prices and checkout stay behind the login.

Can I go back to a previous version? Yes. Open the versions list at the bottom of the chat panel and click Rollback on the version you want to restore.

Something is not working? Email [email protected] with a short description and, if you can, a screenshot.
