Selling Non-Exclusive Design Content

This option allows you to sell your design content on a Non-Exclusive basis, meaning you can sell the same design multiple times to different customers who do not require exclusivity.

Non-Exclusive designs will be displayed under a separate collection on the front of your website, and you can customize the heading for this section.

Managing Your Non-Exclusive Collection

To efficiently manage your Non-Exclusive collection, follow these key steps:

1. Upload Area

To add a design to the Non-Exclusive area, tick the Non-Exclusive box under the Design Option header.

2. Stock Tab

Both Exclusive and Non-Exclusive designs are stored in the same stock area. Use the EXCL/NON filter to differentiate between Exclusive and Non-Exclusive designs.

3. Frontend

The frontend is divided into Exclusive and Non-Exclusive sections. You can rename the Non-Exclusive section in the Studio Website tab and add a custom image.
When setting up the Non-Exclusive collection, ensure the Non-Exclusive Heading box is either left empty or labeled as ‘Non-Exclusive - Coming Soon.’

4. Pricing Tab

The pricing tab includes three Non-Exclusive pricing options:

  • Non-Exclusive

  • Extended Non-Exclusive

  • Exclusive (for unsold or discounted designs)

If a design is purchased as Non-Exclusive or Extended Non-Exclusive, the Exclusive option will no longer appear in the customer area.

Additionally, there is a Non-Exclusive Discount section where you can display special offers. If left blank, nothing will appear. Customers can also email for further details.

5. Customers

When you approve a customer, they are not automatically granted access to the *non-exclusive* area. You will need to approve each customer's access individually to this collection.

To do this, please go to the Customers section in the back end, navigate to the Access section, and click "Grant Access" for the appropriate customer, please see screenshot below:

This process gives you the flexibility to decide which collection a customer sees, if a customer is not approved for non-exclusive content, they won't be able to view that collection.
