At The Pattern Cloud, we strive to create a seamless and transparent experience for both designers and buyers. One of the most common questions we receive is about pricing β how it's set and whether there's a standard across the platform.
Pricing Determined by Each Studio
It is important to clarify that the pricing of individual designs is set solely by each design studio. As a platform, The Pattern Cloud does not dictate or impose pricing; rather, we provide the necessary tools and marketplace for studios to showcase and sell their work independently.
Each studio establishes its own pricing strategy based on factors such as the complexity of the design, exclusivity, licensing terms, and overall market positioning. Studios set their own prices and input them directly into the backend of the system. TPC does not have the ability to change or adjust these prices in any way.
Industry Guidance and Standard Pricing
While we do not control pricing, we understand the importance of market knowledge and pricing benchmarks.
Leveraging our deep understanding of the industry, we can offer guidance regarding standard pricing trends to help studios make informed decisions. This guidance is based on our extensive experience and industry insights, but it is not a mandated pricing model β ultimately, the decision remains with each studio.
Transparency and Fair Practices
Our goal is to foster an environment where creativity thrives and business transactions remain fair and transparent.
We encourage studios to price their designs in a way that reflects their artistic value while remaining competitive within the marketplace. Buyers, in turn, can rest assured that pricing is determined independently by the creators, ensuring a fair and open marketplace.
