Customers only see your designs once you give them access. This guide shows you how to add a customer yourself, approve customers who sign up on your storefront, and change their access later.

Open your customers

  1. In the menu, open Business Operations.

  2. Click Customers.

Add a customer yourself

  1. Click New Customer.

  2. Fill in their details. Fields with * are required.

  3. Under Account Credentials, choose a Password for them and type it again in Confirm Password. It needs at least 7 characters and 1 number.

  4. Under Access Type, tick Exclusive Access, Non-Exclusive Access, or both.

  5. Click Create New Customer.

You'll see Customer created successfully and linked to studio, and the customer can log in straight away.

Approve customers who sign up

When a customer signs up on your storefront, they wait for you to approve them.

  1. On the Customers page, under Account, choose Pending.

The Customers list filtered by Account: Pending, showing one customer waiting for approval
  2. Open the customer and click Approve.

  3. Choose Grant Both Accesses, Grant Exclusive Access or Grant Non-Exclusive Access.

The Approve menu: Grant Both Accesses, Grant Non-Exclusive Access and Grant Exclusive Access

You'll see Customer approved successfully. They can now log in and see your designs.

Change a customer's access

  1. Open the customer and click the Access tab.

  2. Under Access Levels, click Grant or Suspend beside Exclusive Access or Non-Exclusive Access.

Access Levels on the Access tab: Exclusive Access and Non-Exclusive Access, each with a Suspend button

To set a new password for them, use Change Password on the same tab, then click Update Password.
